Damn, damn, damn...
I know we both hit my (obviously easy) goal of 150 pushups this week, but Jynell really put the screws to me this week...
311 to 185...Ouch...
She went out ahead early in the week and I had the idea of keeping up with her or staying slightly ahead of her...And I was doing it through Friday when I was at 175 to her 170...
And then I log on late Friday or Staurday (I forget) and see I big whopping 270 posted...and I said, "Forget that"...I'm all for competition, but I'm not going to drop and give 100 just to keep in the game...
So I'll take my butt whooping for the week...
Also, not feeling too confident again about losing (or gaining) any weight when I check in tonight...

Just to clarify... I didn't do 100 in one day. I guess technically I did... but 50 of them were meant to be on Friday & 50 were Saturday night. I was up Friday night until almost 3 am (had a lot to get ready for our volleyball tournament on Sat) & needed a second wind. So I figured that since I hadn't put any push ups in for the day yet, that would help wake me up. So, yes I posted after 11pm... but I was also doing the push ups at 1:30am, and posted those as soon as I was done. Anyway... sorry to clean up this week- but I was under strict orders from DC&Z to "kick your battotie for the girls" this week! :D I do think I'm going to get my butt kicked this week though- my hubby has decided to join our challenge!! I'm going to put a tracker up for him on my site & we'll see how it goes! In any case, you should be proud of making & exceeding your goals for 2 weeks in a row now!! Push ups aren't easy & in your defense, I've been working on them for almost 9 months now... I think you're doing AWESOME for 3 weeks into it!! Keep going!! :D
Jynell what are you doing? Quit making him feel better! It's not your fault that you're a genetically superior female... He's just going to have to accept the facts...
Hmmm... on second thought, maybe I should pipe down just a tad, since this "genetically superior" female hasn't done even ONE push-up in over 10 years... Congrats to you both, you two are doing great!
Well, if it makes you feel any better, this genetically superior female only did around 60 - and since they were 'girly' ones that means I have no bragging rights. On the other hand, they SO count and I'd like to thank you for the idea of challenging oneself to exceed personal expectations.
